Alpha spectrum for a radium adsorbing thin film exposed to a Portuguese mineral water. The water contains about 1200 mBq/l(units) 226 Ra, exceeding the Swiss limit. It thus has been banned from the Swiss market. Error bars are ±1 s counting statistics.
